The 2019 SCCI Workshop will be January 18-20, Friday - Sunday at the Country Inn and Suites in Mesa, near Phoenix., Accommodations can be made directly with the hotel as given below. Class is scheduled 9am - 6 pm each day. Monday, January 21 is Martin Luther King holiday, and may be used to travel home or explore the Phoenix area. There are several activities available locally.

Country Inn and Suites does not provide an airport shuttle. The Super Shuttle is $21 per person, and a cab is about $52. Gail is happy to pick you up at the airport and transport to the Country Inn (about a 30 minute drive). Contact Gail with your arrival and departure times. (email@example.com)

WORKSHOP FEE: The fee for the Workshop is $700 payable to CARE. Registration may be by phone with a credit card (800) 758-8629, or by check via US Mail sent to CARE, RR 4 Box 646, Marble Hill, MO, 63764.
SCCI REQUIREMENTS: Requirements for becoming an SCCI, with a description of SCCI Privileges, are on pp. 30-32 of the CCI Handbook (21th edition 2017) One must have taught at least four Basic Sets to be eligible to become an SCCI, but one may take the SCCI Workshop before having completed the four Sets. Only CCIs and above may take the Workshop. CIs are not eligible.
THE SUPERVISORS MANUAL: Participants must purchase a CARE Supervisors Manual prior to the Workshop, read it and bring it to class. They are $95.00 plus $14 s&h. You will need to call CARE at (800) 758-8629 and order by phone with a credit card.
WORKSHOP ASSIGNMENT: The Workshop assignment is to get a copy of the Return Demo Form (which may be downloaded from the CARE Instructor's Google group) and view the latest CARE Vitaflex and Raindrop DVDs, critiquing the instructor’s performances as if they were a CCI Candidate and you are the Examiner. Your completed Return Demo forms are to be brought to the Workshop where they will be presented and discussed, and whether a grade of pass or fail shall be given. COURSE CONTENT: Technicalities and the process of becoming a Supervising CARE Instructor will be discussed, as well as the overall responsibilities and Code of Ethics which can count as 1 CE hour of continuing education for those needing an Ethics Credit for maintaining their license to practice. All aspects of Supervising will be discussed, including Examinations for Return Demonstrations, Supervising Assistantship Classes, Mentoring CCI Candidates, Proctoring Internship Classes, as well as Observing Emotional Release and Chemistry Classes for candidates seeking authorization for these subjects.
