CARE Intensive - Colorado Springs, CO

This will be a 3-day HANDS-ON Intensive in Raindrop Technique, Reflex Techniques, History of Anointing & Laying on Hands, Chemistry of Essential Oils and Emotional Release- providing practical applied aromatherapy skills and authorized training for NCBTMB (25 CE hours). This program is appropriate for anyone with an interest in essential oil use in their daily professional or personal life.  

PARTICIPANTS COMPLETING THIS TRAINING WILL:

~ Understand the Fundamentals of Aromatherapy
~ Learn the Historical and Modern Uses of Healing Oils of Biblical Times
~ Learn and Experience 13 basic Vitaflex Techniques (essential technique for applying oils to the body)
~ Learn and Experience YLEO's Raindrop Technique (as done by Gary Young in Dallas, TX, 2000) 

CONTINUING  EDUCATION CREDIT

The Center for Aromatherapy Research and Education (CARE) is approved by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) as a continuing education Approved Provider. In addition, CARE is also recognized by the Natural Therapies Certification Board (NTCB), the Spiritual Healing Licensing Board (SHLB), and the Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals (ABMP).

GET CERTIFIED AS CRTS, LSH, BCRS OR CCI:

Learn how to become a Certified Raindrop Technique Specialist (CRTS), Licensed Spiritual Healer (LSH), Board Certified Raindrop Specialist (BCRS) or Certified CARE Instructor (CCI) and legally facilitate/teach Raindrop and Vitaflex.

CLASSES:

RAINDROP TECHNIQUE

Raindrop originated in the 1980's through the research of Dr. D. Gary Young. Raindrop is a non-invasive tool integrating the art of aromatic science and gentle applications of therapeutic grade oils on the feet and back. The intention of Raindrop Technique is to stimulate every organ, muscle, and bone at a cellular level bringing the body into structural and electrical balance. 

APPLIED VITAFLEX TECHNIQUE

Vitaflex is an ancient Tibetan Reflex Technique that was brought to the USA by Stanley Burroughs in the late 1920's. Class participants will learn 13 basic Vitaflex technique as described in Healing for the Age of Enlightenment by Stanley Burroughs. This technique is one of the many ways essential oils can be applied to the body and is the primary technique used in the Raindrop Technique.

HISTORY OF ANOINTING WITH OILS & LAYING ON OF HANDS

Ancient Scripture is full of hundreds of references to "precious" oils: Aloes, Cassia, Frankincense, Galbanum, Hyssop, Balm, Spikenard, Cedarwood, Myrrh, and many more. They were considered: "the best products of the land," "the work of a skilled apothecary," "most holy" and "treasured gifts." This class will help clarify the valuable roles of essential oils in ancient and modern day. Based on the book, Healing Oils of the Bible by Dr. David Stewart.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

• Upon Completion of the History of Anointing With Oils Class, you will have sampled and experienced the most common 12+ Oils of Sacred Scriptures and be able to identify scripture of the Old and New Testaments containing information on essential oils as well as their Biblical and modern applications.
• Upon Completion of the Applied Vitaflex Class, you will be able to perform 13 Vitaflex Procedures, understand the basis for Vitaflex, and what benefits may be expected from their applications.
• Upon Completion of the Raindrop Technique Class, you will be able to perform the entire Raindrop protocol, understand its limits and precautions, and know its potential benefits. This class is part of the foundation for becoming a Certified Raindrop Technique Specialist.
• Upon Completion of the CARE Chemistry Class, you will gain a scientific understanding of how the compounds of essential oils reach to cellular levels and how they can bring benefits to the various organs and tissues of the body.
• Upon Completion of the Emotional Release Class, you will be able understand how physical maladies may correlate with repressed emotions, to use essential oils to locate where emotional issues may be stored in the body, and learn a protocol aimed at releasing them for yourself and others.

CLASS SIZE:

Registrations for this Raindrop and Vitaflex are limited to 12-15  people to keep class size small for better hands-on attention and training. Register early to assure a place. As for the History of Anointing, Chem I & II, and Emotional Release classes, these are demonstration/lecture classes and there are no limitations on class size for these beyond the seating capacity of the room. They are all open to the public at ala carte prices with registrations taken at the door, however, pre-registration is recommended for these portions of the CARE Intensive.

PRE-REQUISITES:
CARE Vitaflex is required before taking Raindrop I.
CARE Raindrop I is required before taking Raindrop II.
There are no pre-requisites for the History of Anointing with Bible oils, Essential Oil Chemistry or Emotional Release with oils

WHAT IS INCLUDED:

Class Notes, All Necessary Oils Used During Class, Handouts. Certificates of Completion Acknowledging Participation in the Course(s) are provided (Certificates will be sent via mail from CARE Headquarters)

WHAT TO BRING:
Bring a twin set of sheets with pillowcase (or massage table sheets and face cover), two (2) bath towels, and one (1) hand towel. If you would be willing to bring a massage table, please mention this when you register. You are encouraged also to bring your Bible for the Bible Oils class or Bible app. There are no texts required to take the CARE classes.  

SEMINAR BOOKSTORE:
Texts and DVDs required for CCIs, as well as other publications, will be available for sale at the seminar. 

PREPARATION:
Your fingernails must be very short and filed smooth on the edges and corners. Clippers and files will be available in class. With long nails you will not be able to do all of the Vitaflex and Raindrop techniques. Please note:  If you cannot perform all of the techniques taught in class because of long nails, you may not receive credit for the class.

Lives in Winter Park, CO where she does Raindrop Technique with an ALTITUDE. She has been teaching CARE seminars throughout the USA since 2005. A former SICU/ER nurse she now has her own practice in Feet/Hands/Facial Reflexology and Aromatherapy in Fraser, CO.

Kathryn Hawpe CCI, YLEO Independent Distributor
Lives in Colorado with her son and their crew of pets. She has been a member of Young Living since 2011 and practicing Vita-flex and Raindrop Technique with CARE since 2013. After spending a few semesters at UCCS studying Psychology and Women’s and Ethnic Studies (WEST), she realized her true passion was teaching and facilitating with these precious oils and hands-on techniques for wellness that reach all facets of our beings. Her heartfelt intention is to inspire and empower others to take command of their lives and health, and to enjoy wellness, purpose and abundance.
