CARE Intensive Seminars 2010

Training in Raindrop, Vitaflex, Chemistry, Emotional Release,
& Bible Oils, 25 hours in three or four days with Certified CARE Instructors.

The list below comprises the slate of CARE Intensives and Seminars by Certified Instructor for the year 2010 as they are known at this time. More dates are being added regularly.

CARE Intensive Seminars 2010

CARE sponsors more than 100 Intensives and Seminars a year which have mainly been throughout the U.S. and Canada but there have been CARE Intensives in Mexico, Australia, Great Britain, and Italy as well. CARE sponsored more than 120 programs in 2009 and expects to sponsor at least that many and more programs during 2010. New programs are being added to the calendar every week. WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM A CARE INTENSIVE

Upon Completion of the Bible Oils Class you will be able to cite books of the Old and New Testaments containing information on essential oils as well as their Biblical and modern applications. You will also be able to do a Biblical anointing.
Upon Completion of the Applied Vitaflex Class you will be able to perform 13 Vitaflex Procedures, to understand the scientific basis for Vitaflex, to know when and to whom to apply them, and what benefits can be expected from their application.
Upon Completion of the Raindrop Technique Training you will be able to perform the entire Raindrop protocol, understand its limits and precautions, and know its potential benefits. This class also leads to your becoming a Certified Raindrop Practitioner.
Upon Completion of the CARE Chemistry Class you will gain a scientific understanding of how the compounds of essential oils reach to cellular levels and how they bring therapy to the various organs and tissues of the body.
Upon Completion of the Emotional Release Class you will be able to correlate physical maladies with repressed emotions, to use essential oils to locate emotional issues stored in the cells of the body, and will know how to release them for yourself and others.
Class Evaluations: At the end of each of these classes, there will be a short exam to evaluate the extent to which you have achieved the planned outcomes of the class. These are not "Pass/Fail" tests, but are intended to evaluate the effectiveness of the teaching.

General Information FAQs

PRE-REQUISITES:

Vitaflex is pre-requisite to Raindrop I, and Raindrop I is pre-requisite to Raindrop II. There are no pre-requisites for Bible Oils, Chemistry I, Chemistry II, or Emotional Release which may be taken ala carte. All persons seeking practical knowledge and skills in the healing art and science of applied aromatherapy are encouraged to participate in CARE seminars. CARE Courses may be taken with or without the intent to become certified.

REQUIRED TEXTS:

There are several required texts to complete the CARE Certification Process, but there are NO required texts for taking any CARE Course. However, the chemistry course is based on the text, The Chemistry of Essential Oils Made Simple (See Resources), which will be referred to often during the class. Obtaining this text before class is highly encouraged and should be brought to class in order for you to receive the most benefit from this course. At most seminars copies can be purchased on site.

WHAT IS INCLUDED:

Class Notes, Necessary Oils, and Handouts are included in the seminar fees as well as a copy of the latest CCI Handbook for those registered for the full seminar (which ordinarily sells for $9.95 per copy).

CERTIFICATES AND CONTINUING CREDIT:

Certificates of participation are awarded to every student who completes a CARE Classes in Vitaflex (4 hrs), Raindrop I (4 hrs), Raindrop II (4 hrs), Chemistry I & II (6 hrs), and Emotional Release (5 hrs). Certificates are also awarded for the Healing Oils of the Bible Class for those taking a full 25-hour CARE Intensive and for those taking the Bible Oils class ala carte who request it and pay an extra $10. These certificates are good for continuing education credit approved by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) and count toward becoming a Certified CARE Instructor (CCI) and Certified Raindrop Practitioner (CRP). They also provide proof of participation as eligibility to retake any CARE Class for half-price. Enrolling and completing a full 3-4 day CARE Intensive will earn a participant six colorful and attractive certificates totaling to 25 hours credit. WHAT TO BRING:

Bring two (2) sheets, two (2) bath towels, one (1) hand towel, and a copy of the Bible. Bring your personal copy of The Chemistry of Essential Oils Made Simple, if you own one. Otherwise, you may obtain a copy at the seminar. If you would be willing to bring a massage table, please mention this on the registration form or when you register.

SEMINAR BOOKSTORE:

Texts and videos required for CCIs, as well as other publications, are normally available for sale at the seminar. These publications are also available in the Resource Catalog of this website or directly from CARE by calling (800) 758-8629, 9-5 PM, CST, Mon-Fri.

PRE-REGISTER FOR A GUARANTEED PLACE:

Pre-registration with payment in full is the only way to guarantee a place for participation. Payment is acceptable at the door for individual courses on a space-available basis. Places cannot be reserved until full payment is received.

ACCEPTABLE MANNERS OF PAYMENT:

Both checks and credit cards acceptable. Make Checks to CARE. Visa, MC, Discover, and American Express card payments may be made by phone, regular mail, and at the door. Online registration through PayPal available for U.S. seminars. Click here for online registration.

REFUNDS FOR CANCELLATIONS:

Refunds for cancellations (minus non-refundable processing fee $50 U.S./$75 Canadian) will be given only if notified at least two weeks prior to seminar date. If seminar is cancelled by CARE, or if seminar is already full when you register, you will receive a full refund.

ATTENDING FOR HALF-PRICE:

If you have taken and paid for any CARE Class before and received a CARE certificate for that class, you may retake that particular class from any CCI for half-price. This includes the opportunity for retaking the whole 3- or 4-day seminar if you have already attended and paid once before. To be eligible for the 50% discount, you must furnish proof that you have taken the class to the organizing CARE Instructor in the form of a fax, photocopy, or email of your CARE certificate or certificates.
