CARE's Education ProgramsThe Center for Aromatherapy Research and Education, Inc. (CARE) certifies CARE Instructors to become members of the CARE Faculty. CCIs throughout North America train others who, in turn, are eligible to become certified, making Raindrop Technique and raindrop training accessible throughout the country. CARE's education program is an ongoing effort to provide a well-rounded range of accreditation programs, seminars and workshops. This page contains an overview of those programs and workshops as well as links to full details and registration information.
The CCI ProgramThere are 25 hours of formal coursework in the CCI program as outlined in the CCI Program notes below. Other requirements to be fulfilled outside of class create a total of 164 hours of credit to be earned in order to become a CCI. Complete course requirements, privileges of certification, and responsibilities of a CCI may be accessed through links from this page, or your may order a copy of the CCI Handbook for $5.95 (s&h included) from CARE's online Resource Catalog. The CCI Program consists of the following components:
Required course materials consist of certain texts and videos which CCI candidates must personally own. These can be purchased through CARE's online Resource Catalog. *The Final Exam is principally based on material found in the required texts and videos, but may also include information presented during the courses. Learn More about the CCI Program CARE IntensivesTo facilitate the completion of in-class course requirements, CARE offers CARE Intensive Programs, which makes it possible to complete all 25 hours of CCI course requirements in a three or four-day workshop. The 25 hours of formal course-work in the CCI program are also offered in parts, one, two, or three classes at a time over a one or two day period, which means that it could take months for a CCI candidate to find opportunities to complete all of the course hours. For that reason, the CARE Intensive Program was created to make it possible to complete the CCI course requirements in a few daysusually over a weekend, but not always. A typical three-day CARE Intensive may be structured as follows but not
necessarily. You should check the class schedule for each specific CARE
Intensive offered since some last three days and some four and there can
be variations in the order of the classes:
Center for Aromatherapy Research and Education is approved by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) as a continuing education Approved Provider. The courses taught by Certified CARE Instructors carry the following NCBTMB credit:
These courses and continuing education credits are offered throughout
the year and in many locations throughout the United States, Canada, as
well as some other countries. New dates and places are being added monthly
on an ongoing basis. Please periodically check the CARE Calendar on this
website from time to time to learn of the latest listings to see if and
when CARE Programs are offered nearest to your location. |
